Hello there all you wonderful people! I am so excited to meet you and hopefully we will get to know each other over the course of this blog. My name is Ciera and I have had a pretty darn good life. Yes it has had its ups and downs but i choose to focus more on the ups than the downs. Yes yes, I know that is not always easy or possible but it is a worthy endevour. I have been happily married to my husband Michael for 11 years. We have 2 beautiful children, Jasper and Evey. Currently I live in the Beautiful state of Oregon. My family and I moved from California when I was a tween. My 9-5 is wound care, I have worked in the medical field for almost 15 years. I have many passions in my life, a few are:
- My spiritual beliefs
- My beautiful family❤
- Long walks
- The ocean🌊
- Helping others
In 2016 I had a life changing surgery that left me paralyzed. With lots of hard work and support from my family and friends I was able to rehab and learn to walk again! I was left with many painful and difficult side affects. But its not all bad, because of this experience I have much greater empathy for people and a new more positive look on life. That why I decided to create this blog. Since my surgery I have gotten many complements about how nice it is to see my positive outlook despite the difficulties I have been through and still am going through. This is not always easy, believe me! I have bad days just like everyone else, and i mean really bad days. In my blog, Chronically Happy Ciera, I will be discussing ways to help boost your daily happiness. Whether that is through natural pain relief, emotional support, family life, DIY, self-care and more!
